is thrash metal making a return?

bands such as merciless death,fueled by fire,warbringer,malicious assault,avenger of blood,strike master,and many more!
and all these bands bring in huge amounts of ppl to their shows!
does this mean that their is going to ba a new wave of neo THRASHERS invading the metal scene?

God I hope so… Only in the United States will you find pop as the most listened to music. It’s sickening; when will metal prevail? It has all over the world, and yet, we still hear the BS on the radio…. What is wrong with the US?

I was thinking about this earlier in the week, actually. I think it is. Many of my friends have been getting bored of everything that they are being shown on mtv and are starting to start listening to heavier and heavier things. Its not the more underground thrash that you are speaking of, but me and my friends are fans of bands like metallica, slayer, anthrax, and things of the such. Im defenintely (Sp??) checkin out those bands that you just listed.
