Slayer!!! Metallica is good, but Slayer is so much better. The menacing riffs combined with disturbing lyrics make Slayer the most interesting, and best sounding thrash metal band of them all.
Edit-I never said that you did mention Metallica. I was simply referring to the general public’s obsession with Metallica. I actually like Metallica more than every thrash metal band there is, except for Slayer. Also, Sepultura is good.

i love slayer, sepultura, kreator, anthrax are ok blah blah blah and yeh obviously METALLICA !! they had (and still do) such a strong following for a reason !!!
i listening to Abruptum now…. you asked for some heavy stuff the other day, this isnt fast but pretty dark morbid cold music, if your in the mood check it out
