Heavy Metal Militia

The band I started wants to do this sh*tty goth stuff now, and I’m the only one who disagrees, so I’m quitting tomorrow, and I’d like to do a solo project. Leave them to do their goth thing. They have some nerve, trying to force me into this crap when I have nearly all of the songwriting credit.

Do any of you here at R&P know a good kit I can use to learn and record? Preferably not too expensive, I’m on a bit of a tight budget.

I love Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Slipknot, Queen, Dethklok, and Black Sabbath. I know Queen isn’t that Metal or at all, but I love them. But what would you suggest to me?
