I mean, what the hell?
This band released many great album, their first 2 being complete masterpieces. They’ve been releasing solid things for more than 15 years. Jeff Waters is an awesome guitarist. Only problem, they don’t get half of what they deserve. The stuff they made is at least as good if not better than many thrash bands that got a lot of succes, what’s up with that?
Am I the only one to think that way?
PS: If you don’t know Annihilator and like metal, CHECK IT OUT.
Yeah, some people don’t get enough credit. I mean, how could a band like annihilator have to open for a band like trivium? WTF?
Another example, Metallica probably sold more "St Anger" than annihilator sold "Alice in Hell", and we all know that st anger is crap and alice in hell is a masterpiece.
That’s just unfair.

im looking for some newer thrash, or heavy metal bands… every one knows motorhead,metallica,megadeth,acdc, ect… and those bands are amazing theyre my favorites. but im looking for newer bands with younger members that can still rock like those other bands do.the only band i found that even compares to any of those other bands is municipal waste. and theyre still not even that good… but im looking for younger bands like them that can still rock and i dont want any screamo,emo, or pop shit… i want pure metal!!!! if u know any good new bands please let me know.

I don’t really care if people think I’m a pussy, but I have a hard time being taken seriously.
Even though bands like, Carcass, Brutal Truth, Cattle Decapitation etc are all vegetarian and vegan and are all well respected bands within the scene.

I heard a rumor that Lars is trying to put together a Big 4 Thrash Metal Tour containing Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax. Has anyone else heard about this and if it is going to happen or is this just a rumor right now because if this turns out to be true i think i will kill for those tickets. The only thing is that all 4 bands hate each other so it would be very interesting to see what would go on back stage in which they should come out with a dvd if this tour comes true and it should have bonus features showing Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine, Kerry King, and Scott Ian beating the crap out of each other a few minutes before 1 of them go on stage. Probably too much drama between all 4 of them for this dream tour to actually happen. They would probably fight about which band would open for which band and who is the main act. I can’t see it happening but i can hope. 1 thing i would love to see is during Metallica’s performance that they invite Dave Mustaine up on stage and play 1 of the songs that Dave wrote on Kill ‘Em All or Ride the Lightning. All of this would be so awesome to see but i doubt it.

Im obsessed with Metallica and Slayer and Pantera etc. but I want somethinf fresh that is actually happening. Now guitar is great and I’m sure theres no lack of it but the thing about new metal that ive heard is vocals. Bullet for my valentine and such bands are great but i refuse to download a song with a singer sounding like a 13 year old girl. Is there any new thrash metal that has vocals similar to 80s james hetfield or pre trendkill phil anselmo. I need man music not teenage emo chick music.
