Lately I have taken a liking for metal songs. I like the ones with high intensity guitar playing and screaming, such as High and Mighty Color – Ichirin no Hana. Can you guys recommend some to me?
A lot of my friends are into heavy metal and I thought I would like to learn more about it. What do I listen to first. I dont wanna be turned off quickly.
You can define it any way you’d like. Most number of classic albums, most influential band was formed in said year, etc.
But then when I actually listened to some of the older songs such as Iron Man, Enter Sandman, Paranoid, etc, I was impressed. They had no screaming at all.

I’ve been taking megadoses (9 g/day) of chlorella in an effort to remove heavy metals from my body. I am wondering how chelation works with heavy metals in the body, and how the metals are removed from my system (do they come out in sweat or urine?). Is there any way to tell this regimen is ‘working’?
I love rock and roll that kicks butt. And I love Heavy Metal. But there are some death metal groups who turn me away due to the way that they sing, which is a shame because their guitars and drums sound great.
Bands like Vader, Dying Fetus, and Lamb of God are the kind of groups that I am talking about where the singing sounds awful but the guitars and drums are great. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just not use to it?
As far as I can tell there is no hard-set rule based on actual musical style that differentiates the two, but rather a rule based on if they have a "look"….. a band can be heavy as all get-out, play solos, etc, but because they have short hair and wear tight emo jeans, they can’t be metal. or is it the fanbase that differentiates the styles? because lets be honest, its not the actual style of music that sets anything apart
